All original Gibson Sg Special in a dark red cherry made in the early 1970's, however the original vibrola bar is has a replaced screw and a brand new black gator hardshell case in provided.
Condition: Great shape for its age, original finish does exhbit wear and tear, there are dings scattered along the sides of the body. The back does have visible scratchy swirly marks but smooth to the touch and there is beautiful lacquer checking on the front of the body and around the heel. However none of the cosmetic issues affect any structural integrity or playability and still looks gorgeous. The sought after 3 piece neck feels smooth and lacquery. The fretboard and headstock are preserved without any cosmetic issues and the frets have plenty of life. Over all a 7/10 for a early 70's sg.
Electronics:
All original pickups and pots that date to 1970. A little dusty in there some contact cleaner was used to clean it up a bit. Original Solder joints.
