The neck on this beauty has an all new modern "D" shape that is like a C with more shoulder and is comfortable for any size hand. It's super modern and really feels good in the hand, especially with the satin urethane give an extremely smooth feel as well as a nice vintage tint. The standard for Ultras now all have locking tuners that are short posts which make tuning stability a problem of the past and string changes a breeze. The pickups are fenders debut at vintage noiseless jazzmaster pickups and are super crisp and clear and sound amazing in the middle position. The all new access heel joint allows for really easy playing in the upper register because the joint has a slimmer carve that is thinner and really elegant. Finally the finish is an all new Mocha burst with a breath taking gloss and sparkle. All in all a beautiful instrument with a vintage look but modern appointments for the discerning player. Condition: Completely mint, setup with low and smooth action and perfect intonation with a fresh set of premium d'addario NYXL 9's. This instrument was fully inspected, setup, cleaned and polished by our experts.

Electronics:
Fully Functioning Ultra Noiseless™ Vintage Jazzmaster® pickups. These produce 0 hum, actually zero, it's astounding. They sound really really good, neck pickup is warm with tight low end, and the bridge crackles and pops, the middle pickup (my favorite) is a combination of both and if you press down on the s-1 switch, it puts the circuit is series, which delivers more mid range and volume.  The second circuit is an out of phase circuit so when you switch it on, the pickups sound really honky and you can control each pickups individual volume while out of phase.
