Fender American Vintage '62 Stratocaster 1982 Sunburst
Fender American Vintage '62 Stratocaster 1982 Sunburst
TL:DR 100% original, only thing to note is neck pickup was rewound to the exact same specs using the same amount of wraps, magnets are unchanged. Signs of wear are tasteful, no cosmetic flaws at all.
Tons of hours have been put into this piece yet its retained all its originality and good looks. What you're looking at is a fully preserved and appreciated but super rare Fender American Vintage '62 Stratocaster from 1982. This is the first year that this model was released and is a faithful reproduction of a genuine 62' strat. (Of course not 100% correct) The most attractive part of this offer is that its not a mint piece, its a player, so you can enjoy aging this piece yourself while owning a real nice investment and great sounding strat. Every part of this piece is original to the guitar and its a late 82' piece. (December 23rd) These fullerton reissues are skyrocketing just like their genuine '62 counterparts, and its worth every penny. This piece has a really nice and dark 3-tone burst with a vibrant splash of red, on a lightweight and resonant slab of alder. Tons of honest relic is visible around the body and neck, they used very thin nitro on the neck and overtime its turned into a money maker thats practically morphed to the human hand. The neck is a thin "C" shape that feels most comfortable and in my opinion fenders best neck. ('57/'58 soft v is 2nd, and late 60's early 70's U is 3rd) This means your hand is super close to the fretboard but had enough meat to make chording real comfy, but hendrix style playing is a dream with minimal shoulder. The actual sound is unbelievably balanced and woody. So the money maker is the neck pickup, its got this bell like strat tone think scooped mids, very warm and bassy with a punchy and juicy upper mids / highs. Plug this into a fender or marshall amp and you dont even need a pedal you got everything you need from this beast. Really an awesome player and a great investment, snag this piece while you can because I know how hard it is to find these in great shape. This piece has been fully setup with our "Gilded Treatment." This means instrument has been fully inspected, professionally photographed and documented along will a full deep cleaning of any residual grime and dust, pots are cleaned of debris and sprayed with contact cleaner to add a layer of cleaning and protection. Its amazing how clean pots and contacts bring so much tone back. Polished frets to allow you to "glide" over the fretboard. Dialed Nut Height with optimal slots and contact points with lubrication. Action and intonation is dead on and neck relief is perfect. The neck has absolutely no warps or humps and the truss rod turns perfectly with tons of room to turn for seasonal changes. Thank you for looking
You'll be shocked to find how good our pro setup is! A 100$ value free! big bends fretting out is a thing of the past, find out for yourself!
Condition: Super awesome relic condition, all wear is natural and super tasteful, forearm wear and neck wear is tons of hours poured into this piece on the super thin nitro. Tiny dings and marks are scattered along the sides of the guitar but the top is virtually untouched and the back has a few marks but no buckle rash. There is some wear around the serial plate. Pick-guard has been dug into for truss rod access, this is super common amongst heel adjustable necks with no pick-guard scoop.
Electronics:
All electronics are original to this guitar. We had the Neck pickup precisely rewound to spec and did not have to change any magnets or wire. Volume Pot shows signs of tampering but tone pots are untouched and caps are untouched.
