Fender American Vintage '62 Stratocaster 1984 Sunburst
Fender American Vintage '62 Stratocaster 1984 Sunburst
TL:DR 100% original, basically mint besides 2 invisible little finish micro dings, and hard to see spot of wear on the headstock (pictured). This is a stunner.
Holy moly what a find! Fullerton Reissue in mint condition anyone? This piece quite literally the cleanest Fullerton i have ever seen and I deal with alot of these. Even the case is incredibly clean besides a small stain, inside its got every piece of paper work including the wrong '57 manual because they ran out of 62' manuals. I was the first person to take the neck off this baby. Its full original including springs, 5 way switch, cleaning cloth and even the purchase date in the case and way more. The only reason its not mint is 2 tiny micro dings thats you just cannot see unless I tell you wear to look. Just take a look at that crystal clear thin nitro finish lathered on top of an absolutely stunning perfectly seamed 2 pc alder body. Did i mention its only 7.9 lbs!>!?!?! Not to mention the white plastic has started to age into a wonderful cream. The Sunburst is beautiful with a super bright red spray ever so vibrant and the guitar just loves attention with its sheen. The neck is the bread winner however, the most perfect Oval C that is super ergonomic and slim very very close to how the real 62's were but slightly thinner. This piece has the darkest most delicious rosewood i have ever seen, milled on top a gorgeous quartersawn 1 pc maple neck. The Rosewood has unbelievable dark grain and on top of that is 22 all original perfectly straight and leveled frets with tons of meat. The headstock has beautiful amber tint to it that is super vintage and just makes you drool, one can get lost just looking at the headstock.
The sound of this instrument is incredible!!!! Its got the stratiest strat sound ever, with the untouched electronics, the juicy big orange square cap and high end vintage voiced black bobbin pickups its all the woody, glassy, bell-like sound you could ever want. Warm lush bass, with bright snappy and poppy treble with scooped mids. This piece sounds unreal through a big clean fender amp or any amp with tons of headroom. The neck pickup has just the perfect amount of treble to really articulate each note and the bridge pickup is actually usuable! Its got the mid range honk to it that makes you want to bite into every note like lettuce. I am getting hungry writing this description but seriously thank you all for looking, I am extremely lucky to currently own this piece for the time being and I am not letting a single soul near it! Ultimately this a vintage mint fullerton reissue that is an unbelievable collectors item as well as player. Thank you for looking!
This piece has been fully setup with our "Gilded Treatment." This means instrument has been fully inspected, professionally photographed and documented along will a full deep cleaning of any residual grime and dust, pots are cleaned of debris and sprayed with contact cleaner to add a layer of cleaning and protection. Its amazing how clean pots and contacts bring so much tone back. Polished frets to allow you to "glide" over the fretboard. Dialed Nut Height with optimal slots and contact points with lubrication. Action and intonation is dead on and neck relief is perfect. The neck has absolutely no warps or humps and the truss rod turns perfectly with tons of room to turn for seasonal changes. Thank you for looking
You'll be shocked to find how good our pro setup is! A 100$ value free! big bends fretting out is a thing of the past, find out for yourself!
Condition: Unbelievable condition that is essentially mint besides 1 or 2 invisible micro dings on the edge that you need a microscope and a barn light to see. And a little bit of wear on the headstock (pictured). Otherwise this piece has so much beauty and sheen and just a total attention seeker. You will open the case and immediately gasp.
Electronics: The electronics are 100% original and untouched. Black bobbin pickups with a beautiful fat orange square cap.
