Not much to say here folks, a virtually mint piece, with the most desirable features possible. First year fullerton '57 reissue from 1982. Super rare and Premium Red Bobbin pickups marked 82. Unbelievably light at only 6.14 lbs! Unreal lacquer checking, super comfy '57 soft v on a one piece maple neck. Does not have a factory enlarged bridge route. This is definitely a collectors items, these fullertons reissues are blowing up and this one has all the best features and its one of the cleanest you will ever find! It's all there and it plays like an absolute dream. Tons of truss rod turns left, tons of fret life left, zero wear on the entire length of the neck. Just a beautiful piece and it sounds as good as it looks. Punchy, meaty, woody, it has the bell like chime with such a pleasant and warm low end with punchy and kind upper mids/highs. Truly a work of art.
This piece has been fully setup with our "Gilded Treatment." This means instrument has been fully inspected, professionally photographed and documented along will a full deep cleaning of any residual grime and dust, pots are cleaned of debris and sprayed with contact cleaner to add a layer of cleaning and protection. Its amazing how clean pots and contacts bring so much tone back. Polished frets to allow you to "glide" over the fretboard. Dialed Nut Height with optimal slots and contact points with lubrication. Action and intonation is dead on and neck relief is perfect. The neck has absolutely no warps or humps and the truss rod turns perfectly with tons of room to turn for seasonal changes. Condition: 2 scuffs on the right side and a tiny impression, lacquer wear around the serial number plate because they are too thin on these models and ding into the finish if they are too tight. Gorgeous lacquer checking on front and back, finish is super shiny and glossy, neck is virtually unplayed, zero fret wear.
