All original Fender Strat from '79 in a gorgeous sunburst, very thin poly! Not goopy and thick like some of them come out. This baby is in excellent condition with a perfect amount of natural relic on the body while neck has been excellently preserved. This is one of those "good ones" that came out of the frugal CBS era, no shift in the neck pocket and high output pickups, one of those 1 in 3 guitars since CBS is so hit or miss, luckily this is needle in a haystack type strat that withstood the test of time. These strats, although barely vintage, are still miles better than any fender production strats today. The 7.5 inch radius is a classic feel and gives awesome playability and really allows you to bend like a maniac. This is still the iconic strat that changed the guitar world forever and does not break the bank like the earlier year strats.
Condition: Very Good condition, the natural relic and thin poly gives off a ton of vintage vibe and definitely looks old and sweet. No breaks or cracks, only little dings and small scratches here and there from a loved and played instrument. Neck is straight, no truss rod or neck pocket issues, setup perfectly with nice action and intonation, frets are in really good condition lots of life left. Looks like someone marked the fretboard with a red sharpie, as well as a black dot on the side of the headstock. All blemishes are clearly pictured and would love to send more.
Electronics:
All original pickups and pots that date to 78', solder joints are perfect which definitely contribute to the powerful output of these single coils. Volumes and tones role 0-10 exponentially and theres no grounding or hum issues.
