TL:DR 100% Original player grade strat from early 1970 with late 60's specs. Really nice '69 U shape neck. Nitro Body thats super aged. 50% fret life. All original hardware, All original platic except replaced plastic switchtip. Non original tweed case. Extremely good player with 2.5/64" action.

Absolute unit of a strat right here. Just like a florida local, this thing is sun tanned and crazy. Folks this a stellar find that not many people can get their paws on anymore. Sourced from an estate liquidation, this is an Original Fender Stratocaster born in early 1970 thats been completely preserved with all original parts with the exception of its case and plastic switch tip. This strat produced godly tones that makes jimi turn in his grave. Just like his 68' this strat has all the same specs and sounds like every classic strat song you've ever heard. Fender was just never were able to capture that tone of a classic strat, its something magical that I believe is from the old dehydrated wood and vintage electronics. Once you play a vintage strat you'll never go back, and youtube does not do it justice. This strat is just sonically perfect, its got the perfect amount of treble and bass, and the treble just has this extra crunch to it, like your chewing iceberg lettuce its hard to explain. And the feeling of playing on old wood with thin nitro and small frets on an old rosewood board is just something else, cant explain it, but its inspiring.

When you pick this strat up you will notice it's got a perfect '69 "U" shape neck that fits your hand like a glove made out of a bright and snappy slab of maple. On top sits a perfectly straight and incredibly beautiful, dark, and delicious, rosewood board. This neck is perfectly straight with no hump, twists or any type of distortion. Its got original small vintage frets that are perfectly level and allow for maximum playability. (Yea thats right, 2.5/64" action with no buzzing. crazy right.) The setup is absolutely perfect and this strat plays like butter. Attached to this perfect neck is a perfect, lightweight (7.13lbs), kick ass piece of alder. Its got an extremely thin original nitro finish that has all its battle scars to prove its worthiness. Overtime, the sun exposure has sucked the red out of the finish and turned the sunburst into a glowing and golding tan hue that matches its nitro headstock. The original plastics have aged to a cream color that all match and really add to it's character. This is a perfect players grade strat thats retained all its originality but has all the battle scars that make it super functional and feasible. Its got the most awesome setup ever and will provide for its owner for years to come.

This piece has been fully setup with our "Gilded Treatment." This means instrument has been fully inspected, professionally photographed and documented along will a full deep cleaning of any residual grime and dust, pots are cleaned of debris and sprayed with contact cleaner to add a layer of cleaning and protection. Its amazing how clean pots and contacts bring so much tone back. Polished frets to allow you to "glide" over the fretboard. Dialed Nut Height with optimal slots and contact points with lubrication. Action and intonation is dead on and neck relief is perfect. The neck has absolutely no warps or humps and the truss rod turns perfectly with tons of room to turn for seasonal changes. Thank you for looking

Condition: Extremely aged nitro finish that matches headstock. Lots of lacquer checking on extremely thin nitro finish. Lot of little finish scuffs and dings. Small scratch near input jack. Pickgaurd was scooped in for truss rod access, very common. 2 small impressions on back of neck that is barely feelable. Otherwise neck is in outstanding condition!!!. Frets are 50% worn with about 0.030" fret height. Frets are perfectly level and neck is perfectly straight, no neck distortion. Original nut and in great conditon.

Electronics: Completely original and untouched electronics and solder joints, 2 tone pots date to the 2nd week of 1970 and volume pot dates to 34th week of 1969. Grey bottom pickups date to early 1970. All electronics work perfectly and theres absolutely no crackling or issues, pots turn to 10 exponentially.
