Fender Stratocaster See through blonde 1980
Fender Stratocaster See through blonde 1980
Woah! Please enjoy this awesome and original (except pickgaurd) Fender Stratocaster from 1980. It sports a drop dead gorgeous see-thru blonde finish with visible ash grain and a dark rosewood fretboard. The maple neck is the breadwinner with a really nice flamed maple stock with lots of movement on the back and even some on the peghead. The neck is a no-nonsense chunky late 70's "U" shape that starts at a meaty 0.87" and lightly fills to a 0.95". A very comfortable and rounded neck profile with tons of shoulder make wrapping your hand around it very natural. This strat is hefty at 10 pounds and 2 ounces, we're talking sustain for days, this strat really is powerful with a super hot bridge pickup and a real nice midrange punch. Acoustically, this strat has a very pleasant sound like most strats but has a bit more midrange. This dense slab of ash also gives a deep bass response that translates to an overall warm tone through the amp. Expect extremely articulate notes that you just dont get with todays pickups a very nice lower/mid range that is not overpowered by shrill highs. You better believe this strat plays as good as it looks, and its definitely a unicorn strat that has some of the coolest features ever for a fullerton strat.
This piece has been fully setup with our "Gilded Treatment."
