An absolute unit of a guitar, this beast is the darkhorse of 70's fenders and absolutely crushes gibson tones from this era. The widerange humbuckers have to be used with caution otherwise a volcano might erupt. If you've ever wanted to stand out on stage or be inspired by a new type of guitars, this piece is for you. Its a polyamorous marriage between a strat tele and gibson. You're looking at a piece that has seen a ton of stages and studios, with the comsetic wear to show it, but its internals are all intact and its a "player grade" vintage instrument. The piece is 100% original (except for switch tip and 2 of the bridge saddles) with an unoriginal case and its neck has practically morphed to the human hand from playing. Its a win win because your buying your new favorite guitar and a great investment at the same time! The juxtapostion of Old wood and years of playing have made this piece completely resonant and chaotic. You can play this clean or dirty and your getting the most sonically pleasant mid range tones you'll ever hear. This piece has been fully setup with polished frets to allow you to "glide" over the fretboard. Action and intonation is dead on and neck relief is perfect. The neck has absolutely no warps or humps and the truss rod turns perfectly with tons of room to turn for seasonal changes. Thank you for looking

You'll be shocked to find how good our pro setup is, big bends fretting out is a thing of the past, find out for yourself!

Condition: Great shape for its age, original finish does exhbit wear and tear, dings and scratches scattered all over body and back clearly pictured. The sides of the body are a little darker, this is due to a different amount of lacquer sprayed from the factory as well as sun exposure. THERE IS NO SMELL/absolutely NO nicotine smell for those of you that hate that smell as I do. All of standard wear and tear is minor and only at the surface level, it feels awesome to hold such a naturally worn in instrument. A few things to note, the black switch tip is a repro, the bridge was deep cleaned and lots of rust caused two of the saddles to be unusable, so they were replaced with stewmacs string saver saddles which are very good. (and expensive) The bottom strap button had been replaced at some point, so some adjustments were made to fit the original one back on.

Electronics:
All original pickups and pots that date to the 11th week of 1973, Pickups are very distinct and sweet, bridge pickup is a force to reckon with. The pots have some kind of foam around  to prevent any shorts as well as a type of flux to help keep everything in place. A cold solder joint was reheated with some additional solder.
