Fender Telecaster Deluxe Natural 1974
Fender Telecaster Deluxe Natural 1974
TL:DR 100% Original besides Replaced Nut. Very Good+ condition. Top, Back and Neck are Virtually mint, with a handful of hard to see finish marks and dings on the sides of the body.
I present to you an all time classic, and recently, the extremely popular Fender Telecaster Deluxe from 1974. This piece is 100% all original and has little to no marks anywhere except on the sides, as well as no buckle rash. Its in great shape and Fully original besides a replaced nut. Theres alot of good things to say about these. Lets start with the Beautiful open grained solid ash body that has dehydrated over time and rings like a bell. Its really lightweight at 8.01 lbs and it rings like a bell. Lathered in a Natural Nitrocellulose topcoat this piece really pops at at you with its awesome grains and aged look and feel. Atop this sits the 100% original nickel saddled bridge, 2 Wide range Humbuckers designed to sound completely unique with "CuNiFe" pole pieces (Copper/Nickel/Ferrite) and have a real interesting sound. They a smooth and dark mid range, with articulate treble and warm and boomy low end. Combined with the dehydrated and resonant ash and vintage circuit, you can really get a variety of tones and they all sounds so amazing and really ever gets old. I like using a combo of both in the middle position you can get some cool grateful dead tones that I've recently been playing around with.
When you pick the guitar the first thing you notice is this super solid one piece maple neck that has a very nice slimmer side of medium "C" Shape with not too much shoulder starting at 0.83" at the 1st and slowly filling out to 0.87" by the 12th. This really allows you to "tame" the neck and wrap your thumb over and is super comfy, some of my favorite necks are around this range. The Maple neck really adds an open, snappy, bass and treble boost to the tone, and each note is extremely punchy and articulate. By some miracle the frets have tons of life left you dont have to worry about them for years to come, and the aged nitro headstock face is just a hair darker than the rest of the poly finished neck which is extremely smooth. Combined with our perfect fretwork this piece is a dream to play and sounds as good as it looks. Thank you for looking!
This piece has been fully setup with our "Gilded Treatment." This means instrument has been fully inspected, professionally photographed and documented along will a full deep cleaning of any residual grime and dust, pots are cleaned of debris and sprayed with contact cleaner to add a layer of cleaning and protection. Its amazing how clean pots and contacts bring so much tone back. Polished frets to allow you to "glide" over the fretboard. Dialed Nut Height with optimal slots and contact points with lubrication. Action and intonation is dead on and neck relief is perfect. The neck has absolutely no warps or humps and the truss rod turns perfectly with tons of room to turn for seasonal changes. Thank you for looking
You'll be shocked to find how good our pro setup is! A 100$ value free! big bends fretting out is a thing of the past, find out for yourself!
Condition: 100% Original besides a replaced nut. The only area with wear is the sides of the body with very hard to see swirly dings that really are invisible and hidden. The top back and back of the neck are virtually mint. The Edges of the fretboard have a little bit of play wear. Other than that nothing else to write about. This thing is almost perfect!
Electronics: Completely original and untouched electronics and solder joints, 2 pots date to the 46th week of 1973 and 2 other pots date to 2nd week of 1974. Original Seth lover wide range pickups from 1974. All electronics work perfectly and theres absolutely no crackling or issues, pots turn to 10 exponentially.
