TL:DR All Original, 100% clean, w/OHSC. 1 owner, collectors condition.

Gilded Guitars presents to you and all original Gibson es-175D in a gorgeous sunburst finish from 1972. This instrument is essentially flawless save a ding on the heel joint and some wear around the top and face of the peg-head. The quintessential Jazz box, this piece has been the king of jazz and played by man legendary guitarists like Joe Pass, Jim Hall, and Pat Metheny. This legendary instrument has withstood the test of time and is in still unreal condition and setup to play. Its got smooth, blazingly low action, dead level frets and a neck thats straight as an arrow. This piece starts off with a Florentine single cut away design (first gibson with that) and has 2 pat. sticker t top pickups and original electronics. Its got a super aged and thin nitro finish on top of a gorgeous Sunburst finish that looks stunning along with fully aged cream binding. This piece looks absolutely gorgeous with its laminated maple top back and sides with parallel maple tone bars underneath to add sustain, resonance, and reduce feedback. This piece is extremely light at only 7 pounds and sounds exactly how it looks. The pat. sticker pickups are super "airy" and crisp when wide open, but when you roll the tone down they really shine with exactly that "jazz" tone you've been searching for. Its smooth, punchy, familiar, and it basically sounds like it has an EQ on it already, because its so tonally mature.
Now the neck is perfect, its your standard slim 60's taper. That means it starts out really thin at 0.80" and fills out to fit your hand perfectly at 0.96" at around the 10th fret. This is the ideal neck and has the right amount of shoulder to ensure full comfort yet inspire you to really tame the neck. It feels great and the nitro finish has practically aged into a "hand shape" from play so its familiar feeling. The binding has aged to a cream and looks really nice in combination with the lighter rosewood board and split parallelogram inlays. The original frets are on the lower side at around ~0.030", as all my instruments have as close to perfect fretwork as possible, this one is no exception, and has many years left in it of perfect action. The headstock is extremely clean just some wear on the top of the peghead and sport the original double line kluson "gibson deluxe" tuners. One shaft is slightly bent but does not make it any harder to turn. Ultimately, we're looking at a 50+ year old instrument thats in great condition, its got the old wood thats lost its moisture and rings like a bell, perfectly wound t-top pickups and untouched electronics that are so articulate and crisp and versatile and its a dream to play with a perfect setup. Thank you for looking

This piece has been fully setup with our "Gilded Treatment." This means instrument has been fully inspected, professionally photographed and documented along will a full deep cleaning of any residual grime and dust, pots are cleaned of debris and sprayed with contact cleaner to add a layer of cleaning and protection. Its amazing how clean pots and contacts bring so much tone back. Polished frets to allow you to "glide" over the fretboard. Dialed Nut Height with optimal slots and contact points with lubrication. Action and intonation is dead on and neck relief is perfect. The neck has absolutely no warps or humps and the truss rod turns perfectly with tons of room to turn for seasonal changes. Thank you for looking

You'll be shocked to find how good our pro setup is! A 100$ value free! big bends fretting out is a thing of the past, find out for yourself!

Condition: Awesome Condition, Body top back and sides virtually mint. Headstock has a tiny bit of scuffing and little marks. Neck heel has a ding and some lacquer checking. Otherwise its all there, no repairs/mods/issues. Neck is perfect. Frets are pretty low about 40% left which is low for fretless wonders. Perfectly level no high spots, perfect fret work.  One shaft is slightly bent but does not make it any harder to turn.

Electronics: All original electronics, pat.sticker pickups. no scratchy pots. Pots and input jack are inside a "can" which was common to have during Norlin. Knobs turn linearly to 10, untouched electronics.
