TL:DR Player Grade piece. Original Pat. sticker pickups. Side of neck repair. All Original finish. Bridge is an original early 70's but incorrect nashville bridge. Tailpiece is made of brass. Pots are noble pots, caps are original black beauty caps.
You're Looking at Gibson les paul custom from 1971 in player grade condition. This piece is no nonsense, one owner work horse that has been put to work since 71'. The original owner played it throughout his entire career and it definitely shows. This sleek black beauty has aged into a tone monster, its got its original electronics except replaced pots and absolutely screams with every note and sustains for days. The neck is an unbelievabley worn in, basically morphed to the human hand, slab of mahogany. Its got an awesome 58' profile unlike most 60's slim necks. This one is rounded and fills out your hand (0.89" at the 1st - 1.04" at the 12th). The playability is unreal, the neck has got no distortion and action is perfect. Aside from a simple and quick neck repair this thing has got everything. One side of the neck has a crack that was simply injected with hide glue and clamped, its not going anywhere and can be easily touched up by an experienced luthier. Otherwise, this baby is a total demon and should continue to enjoy a life on the edge. Thanks for looking!
Condition: Player grade vintage instrument, with lots of play wear. Scratches, dents, bumps, bruises, buckle rash and a repair on one side of the neck. All the finish is original and black lights perfectly. The repair was a simple hide glue injection and is perfectly stable. An experienced luthier can easily touch it up and make it invisible. Otherwise, the instrument plays like a dream, level frets, dangerously low and smooth action, vintage grovers are amazing. No tuning instability, this thing rocks, and the neck is super chunky and worn in.
Electronics:
All original electronics except pots were all replaced with noble pots. Original black beauty caps and pat. sticker t-top pickups. No grounding issues or scratching, knobs turn perfectly to 10. 100% working electronics.

This piece has been fully setup with our "Gilded Treatment." This means instrument has been fully inspected, professionally photographed and documented along will a full deep cleaning of any residual grime and dust, pots are cleaned of debris and sprayed with contact cleaner to add a layer of cleaning and protection. Its amazing how clean pots and contacts bring so much tone back. Polished frets to allow you to "glide" over the fretboard. Dialed Nut Height with optimal slots and contact points with lubrication. Action and intonation is dead on and neck relief is perfect. The neck has absolutely no warps or humps and the truss rod turns perfectly with tons of room to turn for seasonal changes.
