Gibson Les Paul Custom 1979 Black Beauty

An iconic top of the line Les paul custom, all original with a ton of players wear so you know it was enjoyed. Played instruments like these have a ton of character and the wood tends to become played in and more harmonically rich. During the late 70's they were using maple necks on the lpc's which add a balanced and tighter lows to the sound. They also have the notorious fretless wonder frets which are wide and flat and allow for awesome shredding. A played in les paul from the 79 with all the original electronics and iconic appointments, what more could you want for your setup.

Condition: In good, player in condition without any cracks or breaks. The neck feels very familiar as it has tons of time played into it and morphs to your hand. Lots of battle scars on this one, someone engraved a name on the back and there is a circle of scratching on the upper right horn. (A potential project if one would like to fix those two damages) However all these problems are purely cosmetic and we assure this les paul still rocks out. From the neck and up the guitar has been preserved very well and definitley is in great condition, no internal problems, truss rod functions perfectly, neck is dead straight and setup with perfect action/intonation.

All original pickups and pots. T-top pickups, pots date to 79. Neck is butter, bridge is lethal.
