Holy smokes, the white beauty, the beast of the east, the yeti killer, you're looking at an absolute white demon of a guitar. Please take a moment appreciate this All original Gibson Les Paul Custom from 1987 in its original and rare Alpine white finish. Take another moment to appreciate how unbelievabley cool and genuine this play wear is. Thats right, this guitar is 100% original sans any repairs/mods/breaks and has been totally played, loved, and abused in the most perfect way possible. 100% of the wear you see is finish wear. This is a tone monster that saw the stages and the studios and survived it all without a doubt. This is the best kind of instrument that has been loved and played and aged and carries all its stories on its surface.
Starting off the body is lathered in a scrumptious alpine finish which has aged over time into a beautiful cream. There honestly is very little of any marks or dings, mostly just honest finish checking, and wear. The body is sporting a solid, dense, and resonant Mahogany body that gives you all the mid-range you will ever need. The Hardware is all faded gold that has been worn from player wear. The electronics are completely original and have the infamous original Pat no. Tim Shaw Paf's which are so smooth and silky in the neck and the bridge just melts your face off with full transparent gain and fat mids. The combination of Tim shaws, the vintage circuit, and dehydrated solid mahogany gives you an elite sounds that might explode your amp.
When you first pickup this piece you notice the neck has literally worn down to the shape of the hand. Its unbelievably comfy and smooth and has a really nice wide "C" shape, on the slimmer side starting at 0.83" at the 1st and filling out to 0.97" at the 12th. The neck has a ton of hand wear and its finish has worn down to a really smooth feel. Sitting atop the one piece mahogany neck is a beautiful dark slab of ebony with square pearl inlays and then the peg head which has a luxurious multi-ply binding trim, split diamond inlay, and inlayed gibson logo. Overall, this piece is a total warhorse survivor that has maintained its originality and integrity and lives on to wreak havoc. Its got tons of sustains, some of the best pickups of all time, honest wear. Completely original, a perfect refret, and the most awesome aged alpine white finish truly the cream of the crop. Thank you for looking.
This piece has been fully setup with our "Gilded Treatment." This means instrument has been fully inspected, professionally photographed and documented along will a full deep cleaning of any residual grime and dust, pots are cleaned of debris and sprayed with contact cleaner to add a layer of cleaning and protection. Its amazing how clean pots and contacts bring so much tone back. Polished frets to allow you to "glide" over the fretboard. Dialed Nut Height with optimal slots and contact points with lubrication. Action and intonation is dead on and neck relief is perfect. The neck has absolutely no warps or humps and the truss rod turns perfectly with tons of room to turn for seasonal changes. Thank you for looking
You'll be shocked to find how good our pro setup is! A 100$ value free! big bends fretting out is a thing of the past, find out for yourself!
Condition: Fully aged finish, a couple dings around the sides, nothing really on the top, the back has some marks and superficial bucklerash. The neck is fully worn as pictured and is only finish wear. The sides of the neck along the fretboard seam have some finish cracking, some finish is missing near the nut from probably replacing the nut. The frets have been refretted in a way that the fret nibs were untouched. There is no fretboard chipping and its impossible to tell it was refretted. The peg head has some finish wear but overall this thing is in really nice shape.
Electronics: Completely original and untouched electronics and solder joints, pots date to 14th week of 1987. Original Tim Shaw pickups which for those who dont know are made by the legend tim shaw who faithfully recreated the pafs and they are unreal and fetch really high prices these days. . All electronics work perfectly and theres absolutely no crackling or issues, pots turn to 10 exponentially.
