TL:DR Factory Chrome One owner black beauty in amazing condition. No breaks or repairs. All the electronics are original to the guitar except pots and caps are from 1973, period correct but not original to the guitar. The bridge is not original nashville bridge from mid 70's, but its on the original abr-1 mounting posts. Original tuners are back on. All else is original as well as the case.

Ladies and Gentleman I present to you an uncirculated, one owner, Factory Chrome Gibson Les Paul custom "black beauty". This example has been owned by the same owner since being custom ordered as factory chrome and has been excellently preserved. This instrument has no breaks or repairs and has an unbelievably clean finish that still retains its original sheen and the guitar looks virtually mint but does have some wear and tear. Starting with the body its made out of 2 pieces of solid Mahogany that have dehydrated overtime and sustain like a monster. Its lathered in a beautiful and crystal clear black finish that is accentuated by the 7 ply binding around the body that has aged to a beautiful cream color. The chrome hardware was avaliable by custom order and is extremely rare to find especially a clean example such as this. The original chrome Pat.sticker Pickups are gibson embossed which was only done between 72' and early 73' which makes this even more unique. They sound unbelievable, very smooth and silky in the neck and airy, thrashy, and crunchy in the bridge. The vintage circuit with the sprague black beauty caps and dehydrated, old tone wood all contribute to making this guitar sound so amazing.

The first thing you feel when you pick this piece up is the neck, Its got a perfect slim 60's taper "c" shaped neck. (0.83" 1st, 1.00" 12th). The neck has almost no wear on it and is my favorite kind of les paul custom neck ever. Each year varies and I have always loved how perfectly balanced 72' necks are. The have just enough shoulder to feel comfortable while being slim enough to totally "tame" the neck. Atop this sits moore creamy aged binding around a gorgeously dark ebony fretboard with extravagant mother of pearl block inlays. The headstock face is also perfectly preserved and contains the beautiful split diamond mop inlays and Gibson (no dotted i) inlays. The back of the headstock is quite clean as well but does show some touching up from previous tuners under light. The frets are original with the original nibs but are very low as they already came low from the factory and these are thin fretless wonders. Not all of them were the same fret and these are the thinner variant of fretless wonders. It is still a complete dream to play and the low frets are dead straight as well as the neck so its a total breeze to shred on this thing. This example is truly a rare and beautiful piece that plays as good as it looks. It a vintage les paul custom which will always be an amazing investment as well as an absolute tone machine that is one of the best sounding guitars on the market. You really cant go wrong and this piece has some extra uniqueness with the embossed logo covers and factory chrome hardware.

Condition: Excellent condition with only 2 lines on the top right horn and on the left screw on the tailpiece. The sides are mint with no marks and the back has one tiny circle revealing a layer of black (bucklerash) and 1 or 2 dings on the bottom of the back of the body. The neck is literally mint and the headstock face is in excellent condition. The back of the peghead has tuner wear from previous tuners that were installed before the original ones were put back on. The original owner was a cowboy chord player so there is finish wear around the neck, from his palm, no breaks and definitely no "hidden" repairs.

Electronics:
I installed original 73' pots and 2 original 72' sprague black beauty caps. The rest of the wiring and Pickups, switches etc are all original.
