Here is the Gibson Memphis ES Les Paul in a limited edition Cobra Finish from 2015. Its absolutely stunning to look at and its one of those guitars that you have no idea what you're in for when you first pick it up. Starting off, this piece has a maple/poplar/maple laminate construction with Mahogany tone blocks situated down the middle for extra sustain and less feedback. On top of that sits the most beautiful Cobra Burst finish that is extremely rare and looks unreal. Its got a ton of figuring underneath and is a metallic finish that really glitters in the light. The finish is just barely finish in nitro for a real "thin skin" feeling. Its a super lightweight and familiar feeling piece that looks so delicious. The pickups are not your run of the mill electronics. We're looking at Gibsons MHS (Memphis Heritage Spec) pickups that pay homage to the original PAFS. These scatter wound pickups have unbalanced coils to emulate vintage PAFs. The bridge and middle pickups both have Alnico II magnets while the neck pickup houses an Alnico III. These will blow your face off when you need them too, but also can lay down a smooth and relaxed groove too. The neck pickup is super creamy and smooth, its got a delicious and warm low end with just the right punch, attack, and bite. While the bridge pickup summons all the bite and mid range you will ever need with a crisp articulation that is really responsive to your dynamic playing. 

The neck is a super comfy C shape thats not thin but not a baseball bat. Its right in the middle with a good amount of shoulder so you definitely feel it in your hand but not overwhelmingly fat so you can actually tame it and control it. The neck is completely mint besides the nut has a teeny tiny factory finish blemish moving this piece down to the excellent category, not uncommon for gibson unfortunately but we still love your guitars. The fretwork is done really well and have almost no wear, this piece has not been played much its practically new and has perfect factory fretwork that allows for extremely low action and playability. As soon as you pick this thing up you will notice how familiar the neck feels and how easy it is to play and bend, theres not a single issue with the playability so you can enjoy this thing and put it to its limits. The Open acoustic F hole design adds alot of openness and warmth combined with the stunning finish and super creamy and articulate MHS pickups this is a great piece to add to the arsenal.

This piece has been fully setup with our "Gilded Treatment." This means instrument has been fully inspected, professionally photographed and documented along will a full deep cleaning of any residual grime and dust, pots are cleaned of debris and sprayed with contact cleaner to add a layer of cleaning and protection. It's amazing how clean pots and contacts bring so much tone back. Polished frets to allow you to "glide" over the fretboard. Dialed Nut Height with optimal slots and contact points with lubrication. Action and intonation is dead on and neck relief is perfect. The neck has absolutely no warps or humps and the truss rod turns perfectly with tons of room to turn for seasonal changes. Condition: Excellent Condition, there is a finish blemish on both sides of the nut which is a gibson factory oopsie. If you shine 5 flashlights on the neck and back you may see some buffing scratches, but it doesnt even exist unless you really really look.
