Guys here is what i like to call a "players collectors piece," a guitar that has been played like crazy, but never suffered any type of cracks or issues! Im talking about the most authentic wear that the modern day Gibson custom shops and Murphy labs try to artificially recreate! Take a look at the lacquer checking on the top and back, the thin nitro just brings you so much closer to the instrument on a gorgeous cherry sunburst. The neck has practically worn down to the point where it is never sticky and probably morphed to the human hand by now. The old gorgeous slab of mahogany has been consistently played offering rich harmonics and resonance. This is one of the sweetest sounding Les Pauls i've ever heard, even unplugged! It has that mid range honk and juicy fat Les Paul sound unplugged and plugged in. Even better is its been refretted with Gibson medium jumbo style frets, and its been done really really well. Theres no fretboard chipping or improperly seated frets and definitely no binding issues. This baby is the real deal and the 1972' in my opinion is the best Norlin year. If you look at the necks from 71' and 72' and 73' they're all pretty different. The 72' is my favorite, it's got a thin nut width 1 9/16" and starts at 0.86", but it really feels thinner than that, it's perfect for guys with smaller hands who don't like fat baseball necks, but don't like that thin modern Ibanez/Fender neck either. Condition: Definitely tons of play wear, but theres zero issues with the guitar outside of cosmetic wear. Neck is smooth not sticky and has tons of wear that has basically morphed to the hand. Tuners have been previously replaced and were restored with original tuners. Pickup mounting screws have been replaced. Tailpiece is a relic Gotoh tail piece. Everything else is all original! 

Electronics:
All Original Pickups function as they did brand new. Two of the original pots date to 71' and 2 others are cts 500k replacements and have the original caps that are very similar to the desirable "bumblebee" caps of the 50's. Original Mini Humbuckers have Pat No. sticker on the bottom. It is believed that the surplus of mini humbuckers created in 60's Epiphones were later grabbed and assembled into these les paul deluxes. They sound amazing and super buttery, the neck pickup sounds like a real dark horse and the bridge pickup really saturates the speakers on whatever amp you play through.
