Today we have an absolutely stunning PRS McCarty 594 in Charcoal Purple Burst, also known as Purple Iris. This 10 piece run was hand picked at the Paul Reed Smith factory as a Wood Library Limited Run and is a killer and lightweight combination of rosewood, mahogany and maple. This PRS guitar is the Porsche Carrera of the PRS Core series and features the most prestigious features, construction and parts. The McCarty series pays homage to the massively innovative Ted McCarty who pioneered the meticulous details that make up the legendary Les Paul design. The McCarty combines iconic design with modern cutting-edge technology. The 594 in the name refers to the magical scale length of 24.594 inches. The shortened length compared to Gibson's 24.75 directly decreases the tension on the strings, allowing easier and more elastic feel, as well as completely different harmonic overtones. Condition: In completely mint condition, only small amounts of fret-wear. Entire instrument is like new.

Electronics:
Killer 58/15 LT pickup in the neck and 59/09 pickup in the bridge. You can get fat, silky smooth tones in the neck and unleash fire and chaos in the bridge. Both pickups break up nicely with excellent low end and transparent high ends. Both pickups can be split by pulling up on the tone knobs.
