Lets start with the Violet Blue Burst that has a way of exposing the beautiful underlying grain. Its got a violet burst in the middle that quickly turns into a transparent blue that connects to the entire back. The blue is a beautiful vibrant sapphire blue that dominates the whole instrument. Below the hand carved curly maple is a resonant, and delicious slab of swamp ash thats got the perfect grain orientation, in fact the back is equally as impressive as the top. What really catches your eye is when you turn it over and look at the back the neck. Legendary 3D curly flamed maple that follows up the neck like a spire all the way up, Its unmistakably beautiful. The Whole beauty is encased in the best case you will ever lay eyes  on. The new Golden brown artist paisley case only avaliable with premium PRS's is worth every penny. Theres nothing that isnt dazzling or resplendent about this piece. Not to mention the Curly Maple Binding that connects both curly maple and swamp ash together. Connected to a delicious and delectable Brazilian Rosewood board laden with Mother of Pearl Inlays. This is no joke.

So The neck is a Patter Regular Shape that starts at 0.82" and fills out to 0.91" at the 12th. Its the perfect versatile shape thts not too slim but not to thick, its erganomic enough to play all day but is comfortable enough to chord and connect with your palm. The sound of these original 509 pickups are quite unique. They are overwound and have PRS patented Tune Capactive Inductance. With 5 different premium pickups and 9 different over tonal options you'll never run out of ideas. The pickups have a strong mid range and darker sound due to the overwound pickups. However the overall sound is completely balanced by the Curly Maple construction and Swamp Ash back. What you get is a full tonal spectrum of every sound you want. Its got mid range bite and overwound dark tones when you want, and when you split up the coils, the maple and ash shine through and give you all the glassy bell like tones you want. All of this wrapped in a Striking High end package. Versatility is the name of the game and each tone absolutely dominates. This baby is straight from the factory and has the original factory setup. This piece has been fully setup with our "Gilded Treatment." This means instrument has been fully inspected, professionally photographed and documented along will a full deep cleaning of any residual grime and dust, pots are cleaned of debris and sprayed with contact cleaner to add a layer of cleaning and protection. Its amazing how clean pots and contacts bring so much tone back. Polished frets to allow you to "glide" over the fretboard. Dialed Nut Height with optimal slots and contact points with lubrication. Action and intonation is dead on and neck relief is perfect. The neck has absolutely no warps or humps and the truss rod turns perfectly with tons of room to turn for seasonal changes.
